Role Overview

You'll take charge of handling, moving, and efficiently storing both hazardous and non-hazardous materials within our warehouse. Key tasks include managing loading/unloading, updating inventory records, and ensuring deliveries meet purchase order specifics.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

Orchestrating the shipping, receiving, and material placement process, ensuring speed and accuracy.

Inspecting product conditions for damage and compliance with standards.

Strategizing storage solutions to optimize space.

Flexibly adapting to various warehousing roles as required.

Constructing and preparing goods for shipment when necessary.

Efficiently organizing and dispatching daily orders using multiple carriers.

Completing additional tasks as designated by management.

Qualifications Required:

Completion of high school or possession of a GED.

A background of 2 years in shipping, receiving, or materials handling.

Licenses or Certifications:

Operating a forklift is highly regarded.

Skills, Abilities & Competencies:

Proficiency in building pallets or SKIDs is beneficial.

Adeptness in handling heavy lifting tasks.

Experience in safely maneuvering heavy objects alone or with partners.

ADA Requirements (For U.S. positions only):

Roles often require physical activities like typing, balancing, kneeling, and sustained mental focus for high-precision tasks.

Able to work in various conditions, including confined spaces, and frequently visiting manufacturing sites.

Compliance with attendance standards is essential.

Ability to handle 50 pounds regularly, with larger weights requiring equipment.

This role exists in a non-air-conditioned warehouse setting.
