Estimator/Project Analyst

The Role:
As an Estimator/Project Analyst, you will lead the development of accurate, detailed, and competitive bids across Keystone’s growing portfolio of water infrastructure projects. Based primarily in our Canonsburg, PA office, you’ll collaborate with sales, operations, and procurement teams to scope work, analyze job performance, and deliver bids that meet customer expectations and support execution in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for water transfer, HDPE/layflat pipeline builds, pump station setups, and temporary infrastructure
Define scope, schedule, crew assignments, and logistics in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Maintain and update pricing databases and unit rate templates
Lead Pre-Bid and Bid Review processes, identifying risks and opportunities
Analyze completed job performance vs. original estimates to improve accuracy
Interface with vendors and procurement to track material pricing and availability
Support executive bid reviews and client negotiations
Recommend and implement improvements to estimating systems and processes
Travel occasionally (approx. 10%) to job sites or customer locations as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, or similar (or equivalent industry experience)
5+ years of experience in construction or oil & gas estimating
Strong understanding of water transfer operations, pump systems, HDPE/layflat design, and equipment planning
Experience with estimating tools (e.g., B2W, WinEst) and advanced Excel skills
Working knowledge of T&M, Unit Pricing, and Fixed Fee contract structures
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage bids from scoping to award independently
Valid driver’s license; occasional travel required

Schedule:
Full-Time Primarily Office-Based Approx. 10% Travel for Site Visits and Customer Meetings
