Production Lead

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for a Warehouse Lead for a large distribution center located in Midlothian, TX. The Warehouse Lead will supervise daily operations of the warehouse including receiving incoming shipments, sorting & transferring materials, and preparing shipments for outbound delivery. The successful applicant will maintain display high levels of professionalism, lead and develop a team of warehouse associates, and maintain constant communication with warehouse leadership at all times. The Warehouse Lead will be required to meet key performance metrics as well as manage team to hit KPIs. This person will work together with other departments and management to maximize productivity in the facility, ensure associates receive proper training and mentorship, and manage hiring/scheduling to ensure that team is properly staffed at all times. Available shifts include: Monday-Friday 5am-3pm SUMMARY:
Provides clerical assistance to the Encapsulating and HKSORT Departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Includes the following, but other duties may be assigned as companyâ s needs dictate.
•
Organizes and files attendance paperwork for the Encapsulating Department.
•
Orders supplies and materials such as: shrink-wrap film, glue guns, glue sticks, first aid supplies, etc.
•
Keeps inventory records of the supplies and materials in the departments.
•
Compiles general production reports.
•
Distributes and collects Human Resources related forms.
•
Assists Production Supervisor with typing memos, documents, etc.
•
Assists with special projects that may entail working with other supervisors.
•
Monitors daily production and solves problems in the absence of Supervisor.
•
Fills Inputs daily production via computer and RF device.
•
Orders materials needed for daily and weekly production.
•
Verifies product and Lot numbering for daily production.
•
Compiles and records production data from daily production logs.
•
Complete daily batch records per FDA requirements.
•
Inspects fire extinguishers, first aid cabinets, and eye wash stations in the Encapsulating Department.
•
Coordinates activities with the supply cage personnel and coordinates employee orders with the appropriate staff member.
•
Maintains a clean and organized work area.
•
Follows GMPS and safety rules as outlined by company policy.
•
May perform Packer, General Worker, or Sorter/Inspector duties as needed.

Assists with annual physical inventory. QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
