3rd Shift Packer

Third Shift Packager (Forklift Experience Required)

Schedule: Sundayâ Thursday, 10 PMâ 6 AM (some daily & weekend overtime)

Pay: $18â $19/hr

Summary:

Responsible for preparing slit coils for shipment by banding, palletizing, wrapping, and staging for delivery. Must ensure quality, safety, and compliance with customer requirements.

Key Duties:

Inspect incoming coils for defects

Operate packaging equipment (automatic/semi-automatic banders, jib crane)

Follow work orders and customer packaging specs

Ensure proper labeling, pallet size, and wrapping (e.g., VCI bags)

Maintain a clean, safe work area

Report issues and assist with equipment maintenance

Forklift operation and certification required

Additional Expectations:

May perform related warehouse duties as needed

Assist in training new team members

No direct supervision, but leadership in safety and housekeeping is expected

Accuracy is critical to ensure customer satisfaction and prevent costly errors
