About the Technology Team
At Gifthealth almost everything we do is dependent on technology in some form. As an IT Specialist at Gifthealth, youll make an impact by making sure our technology, both hardware and software is running smoothly for our teams. Youll also help with other administrative tasks like assigning access to ensure our teams are able to use the tools they need.
Were looking for someone who's a strong individual contributor, but also a valuable team player. Youre excited to learn new technologies and ways to solve problems. Youll plan for the future and find solutions to problems before they happen.
Our teams work across several different locations. A corporate location in downtown Columbus, our pharmacy location in north west columbus, and remotely across the US. Youre welcome to do most of your work from home, but youll be expected to be on-site at our physical locations in cases where its required to be on-site to solve a problem.
How Youll Help Us Improve Healthcare
Provide help desk support for all Gifthealth team members
Respond to, record, track, and close issues in a timely manner
Create and update internal documentation on processes and procedures
Provision macOS and Windows machines for Gifthealth team members
Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Onboarding and offboarding team member tools
Automating manual tasks that slow our teams down
Diagnosing and resolving basic LAN and WAN networking issues
Going on-site to our physical locations for situations that require an on-site presence
Prior experience with the following tools is a plus: Okta, Slack, Google Workspace, Windows, MacOS, Ubiquiti networking equipment
A Few Things About You
Ability to document and develop support processes in collaboration with other technology teams
Proven help desk experience supporting various devices, such as Apple laptops, windows desktops, software, printers, etc.
Experience with SaaS business applications (e.g. Workday, Zendesk, Salesforce, Talkdesk)
Experience diagnosing basic LAN and WAN networking issues
Strong relationship building skills to be able to successfully work across departments
Thinking outside of the box and communicating suggestions and findings to technical and non-technical audiences
