A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A GENERAL CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN:

As a General Construction Foreman, your day will be filled with exciting challenges and rewarding accomplishments. From the moment you step onto the construction site, you'll take charge of the project, ensuring its successful execution from start to finish. Your leadership skills will shine as you lead and inspire a skilled crew, providing guidance, training, and motivation to deliver exceptional workmanship. You'll manage work schedules with precision, optimizing resource utilization and maintaining project timelines. Your keen eye for detail will be essential as you oversee on-site supplies, ensuring they are readily available and used efficiently. Building strong relationships with city officials, developers, and other stakeholders will be a crucial part of your day, as you communicate project updates, obtain permits, and ensure compliance. Your adaptability and problem-solving abilities will be put to the test as you navigate unexpected challenges, finding innovative solutions to keep the project on track. QUALIFICATIONS

To thrive in this role, you'll need the following traits, qualifications, and skills:

1-2 years of experience as a foreman in the construction industry

Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Exceptional leadership abilities

Basic computer skills to generate reports

Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and effectively problem-solve will be invaluable.

WORK SCHEDULE

As a full-time General Construction Foreman, you'll enjoy a consistent schedule from Monday to Friday, working from 7 am to 5 pm. Occasionally, there may be Saturday work, but only by request. Our projects are located in Provo, Utah, offering you the opportunity to work in a vibrant and growing community.
