Client First Technologies currently is seeking a Business Architect who will help develop and implement processes and technical solutions that drive improved business capability for our government customer. The Business Architect will be responsible for developing overall strategic imperatives and translating them into achievable business objects for a national program office. The ideal candidate must possess an excellent business analysis and operations background and have demonstrated experience leading strategic definition efforts. This is a full-time position located in Frederick, Maryland.

Responsibilities
· Perform tasks which structure the program office in terms of its governance structure, business processes, and business information
· Align strategic goals and objectives with decisions regarding products and services, partners and suppliers, organization, capabilities, and key business and IT initiatives
· Develop a business architecture strategy based on a situational awareness of various business scenarios and motivations
· Apply a structured business architecture approach and methodology for capturing the key views of the program
· Capture the tactical and strategic program goals that provide traceability through the organization and are mapped to metrics that provide ongoing governance
· Define the set of strategic, core and support processes that transcend functional and organizational boundaries
· Identify external entities such as customers, stakeholders, and external systems that interact with the business and describing which people, resources and controls are involved in the processes
· Capture the relationships among roles and capabilities of various teams throughout the programRequirements:
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business or a related field
· Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in business analysis and architecture tasks
· Proven track record of successfully developing strategic plans and aligning them to business objectives, process enablement and technological solutions
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
· In-depth knowledge of business and process analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices
· Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
· Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and SharePoint
Preferred Qualifications
· Business Analysis, Project Management or other relevant certifications (CBAP, CBDA, PMP, PgMP, Government FAC PM Level III, ITIL, etc.) preferred
· Experience in major Government programs is preferred
· Knowledge in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., DoDAF, FEAF, etc.) preferred
· Experience with data analysis and solutions preferred
· Experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs preferred
Physical Demands
· Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time
· Occasional travel and overtime may be required
Required Clearances and Screenings
· This position is subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility for a position designated with Low Risk sensitivity. Candidates with current Veterans Affairs (VA) Tier 1/Low Background Investigation or equivalent (e.g., DoD Tier 3/NACLC, Active Secret) are preferred.
