Job Title: Trailer Assembler

Job Description

Join our team as a Trailer Assembler, where you will play a pivotal role in the final stages of trailer construction. After the trailers have gone through welding, fabricating, and painting, they will arrive at the assembly department for your finishing touches before shipment to customers.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe working environment.

Read and interpret tape measures, drawings, and work orders.

Support Lean Manufacturing and Quality Assurance initiatives.

Ensure compliance with the production schedule.

Operate small hand tools effectively.

Drill and screw flooring components.

Perform paint touch-ups as needed.

Operate grinding equipment.

Assemble parts using small hand tools.

Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills

Working knowledge of equipment, processes, and methods used in manufacturing.

Ability to read and understand tape measures, blueprints, and work orders.

Capability to work in a manufacturing environment using resources to maintain production based on the schedule.

Ability to wear safety glasses and shoes when required.

Stamina to walk and stand on the manufacturing floor for extended periods.

Adaptability to work in a dusty environment with occasional exposure to fumes, noise, and gases from machinery.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.78 - $23.55/hr.
