Description:
As a production coordinator you will produce a project within specifications without callbacks, on time, and within budget, coordinate between customers, material suppliers, and contractors to schedule, and installation of projects. You will also be a liaison for vendors and customers, representing Upson Company for obtaining quotes and pricing for projects.

Job duties
Participates in weekly production meeting with the Sales and Service team to create a strategic plan for successful job completion
Participate in ongoing training and development of employees
Reviews and approves the JSHA, and conducts site safety audits on every job site visit
Set and maintain production schedule for installations
Tracking project tasks, milestones and material orders, as well as inputting material order requests and sheet metal shop drawings
Assists foreman in managing and scheduling material deliveries, P.O. pick tickets, and material verifications for ongoing projects
Participates in the pre-construction meeting with Estimator and Foreman as assigned
Communicates scope of work and reviews material and labor budgets
Communicates overall expectations for the job based on decisions made during the bid process so the foreman can achieve job production goals and milestones
Conduct project site visits to produce the project within specifications and provide quality control to ensure customer satisfaction
Attend the post-job meeting with foreman to review final job results as necessary
Maintain strong customer and vendor relations
Review and manage projects from start to finish
Oversight of Manpower and Production
Requirements
18 years of age or older
Ability to pass pre-hire physical and pre-hire drug screen
Valid Driver's License with no restriction
Follow company policies and procedures, OSHA, and applicable State and Federal laws
Mental alertness is required to ensure accurate completion of work activities
Preferred experience in the commercial roofing industry with prior experience in customer service
At least 3 years of experience in management or leadership role
Must be fluent in English
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft-based computer systems and learn construction-based software
