Job Description:
A dynamic and growing team is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to fulfill the role of Sr. Multi-Cloud Systems Administrator. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional proficient in managing multi-cloud environments and architectures. You will contribute to engineering innovative solutions, developing governance strategies, driving automation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards for cloud resources.
Responsibilities:
Cloud Administration
Deploy and manage cloud resources, ensuring lifecycle management, compliance, and proper access control.
Utilize infrastructure-as-code methodologies and DevOps pipelines to oversee cloud-native deployments.
Monitor and manage financial operations (FinOps) dashboards to optimize costs.
Maintain the integrity and performance of data streams.
Develop and enforce cloud governance strategies, including compliance, guardrails, fintech operations, and tagging protocols.
Network Infrastructure
Design and implement highly available network architectures.
Manage network security and routing in hybrid-cloud environments.
Configure and operate cloud-based VPNs, VPN Gateways, peering connections, private links, and endpoint services.
Collaboration
Communicate effectively with DevSecOps teams to align cloud strategies and maintain detailed documentation of system and network infrastructure.
Provide in-house training on cloud technologies to empower project teams, improve decision-making, and document incident management processes.
Identify operational efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities across projects and resources.
Support application development lifecycles by integrating applications-as-code principles.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, plus 4+ years of experience managing compute environments (additional experience may substitute for the degree).
Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and the ability to manage regulatory compliance in cloud environments, including experience with Azure Sentinel.
Hands-on experience working with networking principles (DNS, VPN, DHCP, TLS, IP subnetting, and routing).
Proven ability to automate infrastructure tasks and independently troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
A self-starter who excels at working independently and effectively collaborates with development teams and clients.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
A demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Preferred:
Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Relevant cloud or security certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).
Experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure Policy, or Azure EntraID.
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform.
Hybrid remote
