MFG Maintenance Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily maintenance operations and personnel scheduling.

Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.

Develop, implement, and maintain a preventive maintenance program.

Test, inspect, and verify equipment performance and compliance with safety and operational standards.

Coordinate the installation, relocation, and removal of machinery and equipment.

Lead training and mentoring of new maintenance technicians.

Maintain inventory of parts and equipment; initiate purchase requisitions as needed.

Support production teams by responding rapidly to breakdowns or urgent maintenance needs.

Work with external vendors for specialized repair and service work.

Ensure all maintenance work complies with IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 14001 standards.

Collaborate with engineering and plant leadership to identify process and equipment improvement opportunities.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

3–5 years of maintenance experience in an automotive or industrial manufacturing environment.

Strong background in mechanical systems, electrical circuitry, PLC troubleshooting, and robotics.

Familiarity with welding, machine repair, and automated equipment.

Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.

Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and work instructions.

Education & Certifications:

High school diploma or GED required.

Technical training, Journeyman Certification, or a degree in Industrial, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering preferred.

Continuing education in technical or engineering disciplines is a plus.Company Description
