Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our client's dynamic team in the advertising and/or media industry. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of accounting experience, a solid foundation in audit from a public accounting firm, and strong expertise in US GAAP. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role and work closely with the CFO.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring all financial records are accurate and timely.

Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.

Lead financial reporting efforts, providing comprehensive insights to senior management.

Manage cash flow analysis and ensure liquidity needs are met.

Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve financial operations.

Supervise and mentor accounting staff, promoting professional growth and development.

Requirements:

8+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the advertising/media industry.

Strong foundation in audit experience from a public accounting firm.

Extensive knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.

Proven track record in managing month-end close and preparing financial statements.

CPA certification required.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or financial management.

• Proficiency in key financial processes, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and budgeting.

• Strong expertise in financial reporting, month-end close, and financial statement preparation.

• Hands-on experience with cash flow forecasting and working capital management.

• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar financial systems.

• Solid understanding of auditing practices and compliance standards.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team of finance professionals.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
