Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team on a Contract basis in Fishers, Indiana. In this role, you will play a key part in managing incoming and outgoing shipments while ensuring inventory accuracy and efficiency. This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to handle physical tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, sort, and count incoming shipments while performing goods receipt transactions in the company’s system.

• Generate and analyze inventory reports to ensure data accuracy and support inventory management.

• Label and store materials in designated project locations, maintaining proper organization.

• Coordinate outbound shipments using FedEx and other freight services.

• Utilize ERP systems to manage inventory-related tasks and maintain accurate records.

• Perform regular inventory audits to ensure proper stock levels and identify discrepancies.

• Prepare charts and graphs to visually represent inventory data for reporting purposes.

• Handle clerical tasks such as filing, documentation, and communication related to inventory processes.

• Lift and move items weighing up to 40 lbs as part of daily operations.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis.

• Strong understanding of ERP systems and inventory management tools.

• Ability to lift and handle items weighing up to 40 lbs.

• Excellent written communication skills for documentation and reporting.

• Experience with inventory auditing and reconciliation.

• Familiarity with coordinating shipments through FedEx or other freight services.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Previous experience in clerical roles involving inventory or logistics is preferred.
