Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists with experience in 5 axis machining. This role involves setting up machines using precise methods and ensuring high-quality production through inspections and fine-tuning of operations. You will work with a variety of advanced equipment to meet exacting tolerances and aesthetics.
Responsibilities
Set up machines using methods involving edge finders and indicators.
Qualify first piece production through inspections.
Operate and fine-tune machines for accurate and efficient operations.
Work with various equipment including 3 Axis/Fadal, Okuma, Makino, Mazak Mills, 5 Axis/Hurco, and Mikron.
Utilize different controllers such as Heidenhein, Fanuc, Okuma, Hurco, Makino Pro 5 & Pro 6, Fadal.
Perform machining with both manual and CNC machines.Essential Skills
3 to 10 years of CNC machining experience.
Ability to read blueprints, set up own machine, and inspect parts.
Proficient in G and M codes, GD&T, and using calipers, mills, lathes, and micrometers.
High School Diploma.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Completion of trade school.
5 years of machinist experience.

Work Environment
Work in a large production shop specializing in precision machining for automotive and aerospace sectors. The facility operates shifts from 2pm to 10pm and 10pm to 6am, with voluntary overtime available. The shop employs over 160 machinists and engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative atmosphere.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Bay City, Michigan.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $60320.00/yr.
