We are looking for an experienced Payroll Systems Analyst to join our client in Providence, Rhode Island. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between the payroll department and various stakeholders, ensuring efficient operations and data integrity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess system needs, resolve complex issues, and develop innovative solutions to meet business objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary liaison between payroll and internal/external stakeholders to address complex projects and resolve system-related challenges.
• Collaborate with HR management and other departments to evaluate system requirements and recommend enhancements.
• Research and address intricate business or system issues, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
• Design and generate detailed reports to provide insights related to payroll data and operations.
• Lead or participate in project teams, managing all phases of project execution as necessary.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to optimize payroll system functionality.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations in all payroll-related activities.
• Provide technical expertise in using tools such as Workday and ADP for payroll and HRIS tasks.
• Develop and maintain integrations between payroll systems and other platforms to ensure seamless data flow.
• Offer training and guidance to staff on system capabilities and best practices.• Proven experience with payroll systems and processes, including a strong understanding of payroll administration.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems and tools such as ADP and Workday.
• Hands-on experience with Workday HRIS and Workday Integration functionalities.
• Advanced skills in report writing and data analysis to support decision-making.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to address and resolve complex system or business issues.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with project management principles and the ability to lead or contribute to projects.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements related to payroll and HR systems.
