Job Title: CAD Civil (Structural & Concrete) Drafter
Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 per year (based on experience and qualifications)
Location: Cambridge, OH 43725Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient CAD Civil (Structural & Concrete) Drafter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing structural and concrete construction drawings, layouts, and details in support of civil engineering and construction projects. You will work closely with engineers and project teams to ensure all deliverables meet project specifications and industry standards.Education & Experience:
Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting & Design, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum 2 years of experience in civil/structural drafting with a focus on concrete and structural components.Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed construction drawings for structural foundations, concrete slabs, retaining walls, and other civil/structural elements using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
Interpret and incorporate information from structural calculations, field data, and engineering markups into final drawing sets.
Prepare general arrangements, sections, and detailed views to support construction and fabrication.
Ensure all drawings comply with applicable codes, company standards, and client specifications.
Coordinate with engineers and other design disciplines to ensure consistent and integrated design deliverables.
Assist with field verifications, as-built documentation, and site visits as needed.Qualifications & Skills:
Proficiency in 2D CAD drafting (AutoCAD required; experience with Civil 3D or Revit is a plus).
Strong understanding of civil/structural design concepts, concrete detailing, and construction practices.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and survey data.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ability to work within collaborative project environments.
