Job Description

As a Packer, you will be responsible for all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, inventory control, mailing, processing return items, cleaning equipment, and transferring supplies. You must take ownership of tasks and complete them independently while maintaining HIPAA/patient confidentiality. Knowledge and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies are essential, as compliance is a condition of employment and considered an element of job performance. The role requires standing for long periods, being mechanically inclined, computer literate, and able to switch between different jobs daily.

Responsibilities

Pack products weighing 5-10lbs into boxes repetitively throughout the shift.

Switch work areas daily based on orders due to ship out.

Lift at least 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Engage in bending, reaching, lifting, and other physical activities throughout the day.

Meet metrics of packaging approximately 300 packages per shift.

Utilize tools and equipment such as RF scanner, pallet jack, and forklift for order picking and material handling.Essential Skills

Packing and production experience.

Warehouse packing expertise.

Comfortable standing for the entire shift.

Ability to switch between different work areas and tasks.

Experience with RF scan gun and forklift operation.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in labeling, unloading, stacking, pick and pack tasks.

This position offers an opportunity for growth within the organization with a $1 pay increase upon conversion to full-time employment. Work Environment

The work environment is a clean warehouse setting with no extreme temperatures. Standard work hours are from 6:50 am to 4:00 pm, with flexibility for early start times from 6:30 am or 7:00 am at the new facility, allowing for an earlier end time at 3:30 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arden, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
