Rapidly growing non-profit organization is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee the daily accounting functions of the organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, this Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor financial performance against budgeted goals.

* Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting.

* Ensure accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analysis.

* Coordinate and manage annual audits, liaising with external auditors and stakeholders as needed.

*Monitor and manage grants, federal funding, and other revenue sources to ensure compliance with grant terms and reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, CPA preferred

* Minimum of 5 years of relevant financial management experience, preferably in a non-profit setting.

*Proven experience working with complex financials, federal funding, and audits.

• Demonstrated expertise in fund accounting and financial statement analysis.

• Proven experience managing federal grants and ensuring compliance with funding requirements.

• Strong knowledge of audit processes and financial reporting standards.

• Proficiency with financial systems such as Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT and Blackbaud.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail.

• Strong communication and leadership abilities to effectively manage teams and interact with stakeholders.
