Job Description

We are looking for a talented UI Developer to create modern, user-friendly, and accessible digital experiences across multiple platforms. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement responsive front-end solutions. This is a long-term contract position based in Washington, District of Columbia.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement user interfaces for websites, e-commerce portals, mobile apps, and internal tools, ensuring a seamless user experience.

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and content teams to align designs with business objectives and user needs.

• Develop responsive, cross-browser-compatible front-end code using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups that emphasize usability, clarity, and accessibility.

• Ensure compliance with web accessibility standards and optimize performance across devices and browsers.

• Integrate APIs and services in partnership with back-end developers and external vendors.

• Support Agile workflows, including sprint planning, QA testing, and deployment processes.

• Maintain consistency with established digital style guides, brand standards, and component libraries.

• Leverage tools like Figma and Sitecore to enhance design precision and content integration.

• Drive A/B testing and personalization strategies to improve user engagement.• A minimum of 5 years of experience in UI/UX development with a strong portfolio showcasing responsive and accessible designs.

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap or similar front-end frameworks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Design, or equivalent experience.

• Expertise in designing for mobile-first and cross-platform environments.

• Familiarity with Sitecore or similar enterprise-level content management systems.

• Strong knowledge of web accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.

• Experience working in Agile teams with tools like JIRA and Figma.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
