Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate and program 5-axis machines, set up tooling and fixtures, perform in-process inspections, and conduct basic machine maintenance. You will collaborate with engineers and the CAD team to optimize setups and processes while supporting production planning and job scheduling. Over time, you will have the opportunity to mentor other team members and grow into a leadership role.
Responsibilities
Operate and program 5-axis machines.
Set up tooling and fixtures for efficient production.
Perform in-process inspections and basic machine maintenance.
Collaborate with engineers and the CAD team to optimize setups and processes.
Support production planning and job scheduling.
Mentor other team members and grow into a leadership role.Essential Skills
2+ years of experience operating CNC mills and lathes.
2+ years of experience in blueprint reading.
2+ years of experience with Fanuc controls and CNC.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with control systems like Fanuc.
TIG welding or orbital welding experience (preferred but not required).
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Willingness to learn and grow into a leadership role.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Beloit, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
