Robert Half is partnering with a leading global tech organization to recruit a User Experience Designer to support their Security Products Team based in Seattle. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on impactful, high-visibility tools that support logistics and operational workflows worldwide. You'll collaborate with a cross-functional team to design intuitive, scalable interfaces for internal web applications, with a strong focus on user needs, market diversity, and performance optimization.

Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid-Onsite)

Pay Rate: $50-52/hour

Contract Duration: 6 months w/ potential for extension

Hours: 40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

Create thoughtful process flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design intent and user interactions clearly.

Collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and stakeholders to define and prioritize user-centric solutions.

Use both quantitative data and qualitative research (including user pain point analysis) to drive design decisions.

Participate in usability testing and integrate feedback to iterate and improve user interfaces.

Present and explain your design rationale to internal teams and senior stakeholders.

Contribute to UX best practices, maintain design consistency, and help evolve the design system across products.

Qualifications

3–6 years of professional experience in user experience, interaction design, or a related field.

Demonstrated experience in user research and gathering user pain points prior to design—this is a must.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HCI, Design, or a related discipline—or equivalent work experience.

Fluency in design best practices for web-based products, including usability, accessibility, and responsive design.

Proficient in tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Visio, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and Canva.

Strong portfolio showcasing UX deliverables across various stages of the design process.

Experience designing for both U.S. and non-U.S. customer markets and cultures highly desired.
