Our team is passionate about technology and focused on delivering outstanding services to our team members, fans, and community. The Venue Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Point-Of-Sale (POS) systems, as well as the management of digital signage and IPTV systems. This role also includes the support of AV (Audio Visual) systems throughout our stadium. This is a hands-on role in which the ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer focused attitude.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot POS systems to ensure efficient transaction processes during events.

Set up network connectivity and perform regular maintenance and updates on POS Systems.

Provide guidance with in-depth troubleshooting (hardware & software) across the overall system inclusive of the head-end network to identify issues affecting operations.

Perform IPTV, Digital Signage and A/V upkeep, maintenance, and administration. Will be managing and updating digital menu boards through the product TriplePlay.

Coordinate with Marketing, Fan Services, and Game Day operations staff for proper game day IPTV programming.

Provide support for internal A/V setups during events, including both game days and non-game days.

Ability to work well with 3 party technology partners to coordinate for repairs and maintenance when necessary.

Maintain an inventory of POS equipment, TVs, Brightsign Players, and other related peripherals.

Works closely with IT teams to ensure all requests are met and events run to specifications and smoothly.

Basic Requirements/Qualifications:

BA/BS in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field.

At least one year of experience troubleshooting and supporting tech hardware and software in a professional position or venue environment.

Understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting, and strong knowledge of ethernet cabling.

Proficiency with POS hardware (e.g., terminals, scanners, printers) and software systems.

Experience with Triple Play, PingHD, Neat Conferencing system, Crestron and Extron solutions.

The ability to multi-task, establish priorities and work well in a face paced and team environment.

Must be detail-orientated, self-motivated, and enthusiastic, along with excellent oral and written skills.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by event schedules.

Experience working at sports & entertainment venues or theme parks preferred.

This position will require you to perform the following tasks:

Work in outdoor weather conditions; work in wet and rainy weather as needed.

Occasionally move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds; occasionally move about to access various areas of the stadium and remain in a stationary position for extended time periods.

Position self to install and/or check various equipment, including but not limited to, areas underneath and/or around concession stand counters for extended time periods.
