As an HCU Branch Manager, you will build relationships with your team, members, and the community which will propel you to successfully grow the Maize branch.

You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our branch, ensuring exceptional member service by providing financial services, and fostering a positive work environment promoting the HCU culture.

- 6:15 p.m.

Monday - Friday, Some Saturday rotations 8:15 a.m.

- 12:00 p.m.rnRESPONSIBILITIES OF A BRANCH MANAGER:rnThe successful candidate will be responsible for the following activities:rnrnLeads branch efforts to continually meet or exceed branch growth goals, business development, and operational efforts of the branch.

rnActively participates and represents Heartland in various community, civic, and professional organizations.rnProvides leadership to strive toward, meet, and exceed short and long-term goals.

rnManages the hiring, training, coaching and development of staff.rnProvides guidance to staff regarding operational functions, lending, service, and sales.rnSupports all branch operations including teller duties, processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers' checks, money orders, and cash advances.

rnMaintains oversight of regular balancing of the vault, cash dispenser/recycler and ATM according to established procedures.

Monitors and maintains cash supply at appropriate levels.

Oversees the ordering, dispensing, and shipping of cash by Assistant Branch Manager or Vault Teller.rnAssist members with their lending and account needs, provide financial counseling, and promote all HCU products and services.rnMaintains knowledge of credit union products and services.

rnAttends meetings and training sessions as required.rnProvides superior service to our members and staff.

rnProactively supports and advances HCU's brand and culture platform.rnPerforms all other duties as assigned.rnrnREQUIREMENTS OF A BRANCH MANAGERrnEDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:rnrnCollege degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.rnrnEXPERIENCE:rnrnThorough knowledge of financial services and products.rnUnderstanding of related legal and regulatory requirements and branch functions, policies, and procedures.rnAt least three years of related experience in a financial institution and lending required.

rnMinimum of two years of leadership experience preferred.

rnrnSKILLS:rnrnStrong interpersonal, leadership, and supervisory skills.rnProven sales and business development skills.rnWell organized and attentive to detail.rnAbility to operate related computer applications and related business equipment.rnAbility to maintain an effective and efficient workflow.rnrnOTHER REQUIREMENTS:rnrnValid driver's license.rnWill be required to become a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) through CUNA's FiCEP program.

Certification fees are paid for by HCU.rnWill be required to become registered through the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) under the SAFE Act of 2008.

Fees paid for by HCU.rnComplete all required testing.

rnrnPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:rnrnRequired to sit, stand, and walk.rnStanding for extended periods of time.rnExerts up to 10 lbs.
