SUMMARY
Paragon Professional Services, LLC, is currently seeking a qualified Processing Supervisor in the Burlington, MA area. The Processing Supervisor provides a single point of contact for the management of processing duties as described in PWS. This position is based in the Boston AOR and provides supervision for processing in the Boston AOR satellite locations. This position reports to the Transportation Coordinator. Wage/Salary $28 - 30 / hour.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.
· Serving as point of contact for AOR SSDO’s.
· Overseeing maintenance of AOR processing log on a daily basis.
· Communicate with all Site Supervisors and facilities regarding the transport of processed detainees.
· Conduct monthly uniform and weapons inspections of assigned staff.
· Prepare annual performance evaluations for assigned staff.
· Counsel officers on performance deficiencies.
· Issue disciplinary recommendations to the Transportation Coordinator and/or Deputy Project Manager for review and approval prior to issuing to staff.
· Provide assistance with pat-down searches of detainees entering the processing area and documenting any contraband found.
· Supervising assigned Processing Officers in performance of duties at contract processing locations.
· Supervise processing operations, ensuring officers are performing their duties in accordance with post orders, ICE policies and PBNDS.
· Oversee and ensure that all counts are conducted at prescribed times and logged accordingly.
· Ensure that all detainee folders, paperwork, and property is completed and ready to be transported with the detainee.
· Conduct employee/detainee incident/injury investigations in accordance with policies, ensuring photos are taken, and reports prepared.
· Conduct daily equipment inventory of controlled equipment.
· Train all assigned officers on the Enforce Alien Detention Module (EADM) system.
· Other duties may be assigned.
· Must be available 24 hours per day, seven days per week.

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications (applies to both this section and KSAO’s)
Current Public Trust Clearance
· High School Diploma
· Minimum two (2) years’ experience as a Law Enforcement Officer and/or Military Police Officer or six (6) months experience as a security officer engaged in functions related to detailing civil or administrative detainees or, two (2) years active-duty military service with an honorable discharge.
Must maintain an active cellphone to receive assignments and maintain communication with co-workers and supervisory staff.
Valid Driver’s License for the State you reside in.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
Strong communication skills; verbal and written.
Strong organizational skills.
· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and data entry.
Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance.
Preferred
· Possession of a valid Wear Carry Permit for the site-specific state.
· Possession of a valid Security Guard Certification for the site-specific state.
· Possession of a valid Driver’s License or valid Commercial Driver’s License for the state you reside in
· Possession of a USDOT Medical Card (for CDL license holders only)
· Current federal background investigation and access or ability to obtain.
· Active Public Trust clearance.

· This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation “safety-sensitive” functions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily in a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Supervises direct reports.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
