Contribute to the company’s Ab Initio software processing platform: Provide status updates on various data analytics projects, escalate issues as necessary, and assess and communicate risks to the development schedule and overall project. Represent the Data Integration and Analytics team’s interests in cross-functional project teams to ensure the successful delivery of data-driven solutions.

3 years of experience in a software developer occupation.

Must include some experience with

- Creating and managing graphs in the Ab Initio Graphical Development Environment (GDE) for data processing tasks; including creating multi-flow graphs that incorporate input/output components, transformations, and intermediate steps.

- Using data quality components in Ab Initio to clean and normalize data as it flows through the ETL pipeline.

- Leveraging Ab Initio's partitioning capabilities to ensure that data is processed in parallel, optimizing for performance and scalability.

- Using 'Input File', 'Output Table', 'Join', 'Sort', 'Rollup', 'Scan', 'Lookup', 'Reformat', 'Replicate', 'Filter by Expression', 'Dedup Sorted', 'Partition by Key', 'Round Robin', and 'Partition by Range' functions of Ab Initio.

- Express>It to automate data generation and develop data validation and data profiling solutions.

- Metadata Hub to maintain, manage, and track metadata, providing lineage and impact analysis.

- Working with enterprise job schedulers (Control Center) to automate Ab Initio jobs and set up time-based or event-based triggers.

- Developing Unix shell scripts for pre- and post-processing tasks for file transfers, data validation, or job monitoring.

- Connecting and developing data pipelines that interact with cloud-based data lakes and storage solutions (Azure Data Storage).

- Building reusable ETL (Ab Initio) frameworks for consistent data handling, logging, error recovery, and job restartability.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field. Foreign equivalents accepted.
