Title: Electronic Assembler, Mid-Senior
Details:
Status: Full-Time, Regular Salary, Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 0900hrs - 1700hrs EST
Location: On-Site; Aberdeen, MD 21001
Supervisory: NoKey Roles/Duties:
Assembly and Soldering: Perform soldering and assembly of printed circuit boards (PCBs) using surface mount (SMT) and through-hole techniques
Inspection: Examine assembled components to ensure they meet quality standards
Testing: Operate equipment to verify the functionality of completed assemblies
Documentation: Record assembly steps and inspection results for quality tracking
Adherence to Protocols: Maintain a clean and safe workspace, following Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and workplace safety standards
Attention to Detail: Ensure precision in assembly, soldering, and inspection of electronic components to support the Design Verification Test (DVT) buildBasic Qualifications:
Experience in soldering, assembly, and inspection of electronic components
Hands-on experience with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and through-hole soldering techniques
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Strong visual acuity for inspecting small components and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with precisionPreferred Qualifications:
Certification in Institute for Printed Circuits (IPC) J-STD-001 and familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards
Experience with Military Standard (MIL-STD)-2000, MIL-STD-202G, and MIL-STD-750D
Experience working in a DVT or prototype build environment
Familiarity with ESD handling proceduresTravel:
