Job Description
Seeking a Senior Network Administrator to analyze, plan, design, install and maintain local/wide area network systems and software. Recommends the purchase of network and microcomputer hardware, software and technical equipment. May plan, assign, direct, and inspect the work of network technicians.

Offered hourly rate during contract period is $41/hr to $48/hr
Contract-to-hire, 1099 contract during the first 90 days
Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder
Responsibilities include:
Provide level three technical support of existing network, and monitors network performance and recommends strategies for improvement
Troubleshoot, isolate, implement and recommend corrective action based on network problems impacting multiple buildings, including core networking/security devices
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network routing, and/or switching, and/or network security devices (such as firewalls or VPN's)
Perform complex network equipment configuration and installations
Install/replace optics or modules in routers as well as make final physical connections for new links between backbone devices and building devices
Schedule and perform software upgrades including the uploading, testing and validation of network equipment software
Experience in the planning, design, installation and maintenance of WANs running Microsoft operating systems
Experience required:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related
8+ years of network experience
CCNA Cisco Network Engineer, Palo Alto Engineer Certification
Knowledge of network operating systems, network architecture, and data communications technology, protocols, and configurations
Experience with microcomputers, Windows 2008/2013 software and servers, TCIP/IP, switches and routers
Experience with voicemail systems, phone switch equipment, and peripherals
Other requirements:
Will be required to pass a criminal background check
Able to work during core hours, 8:00am to 4:00pm Mon-Fri
Ok with a Contract-to-Hire position for the first 90 days
