Job Details Job Location: San Antonio, TX - Elmendorf, TX Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Salary Range: $28.00 - $32.00 Hourly Job Category: Automotive Description Kett Engineering has an exciting opportunity for a wire harness fabrication product development associate to work in an advance automotive technology research & development facility in Elmendorf, Texas.

The ideal candidate will report to the site Chief Engineer and support vehicle builds and validation activities of products which includes heavy-duty trucks and school buses.

Current openings for 1st shift applicants.

1st Shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Fabricating automotive electrical wire harness assemblies.

* Vehicle installation of wire harnesses and overlays.

* Work from schematics, diagrams, drawings, written and verbal descriptions.

* General labor around facility & other tasks as assigned.

Desired Skills and Experience: * Fabricating prototype automotive wire harnesses assemblies, including soldering and crimping.

(20-30 minute on-site harness fabrication test will be part of the interview process) * Able to read automotive vehicle and component electrical schematics.

* Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings, specifications, diagrams, and instructions.

* Familiar with oscilloscopes and digital voltage ohmmeters.

* Career experience in the heavy truck/automotive industry.

* Basic MS Office knowledge.
