Production Scheduler
Hilliard, OH
Mayco Colors is seeking to hire a full-time production scheduler to join the team at our Hilliard, Ohio facility. The production scheduler will plan and manage the production scheduling, tracking individual products from the manufacturing floor to the warehouse. This role reports to the Operations Senior Manager.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Coordinate with production, warehousing and logistics, sales and purchasing to create production schedules using software and confirmed orders.
Collaborate with managers to prioritize production based on shortages and weeks on hand considering efficiencies and work flows through departments.
Monitor raw material deliveries to support schedule timing
Communicate across departments regarding issues that would affect on time delivery of products and finished goods
Create production tickets and work orders and record daily production records
Monitor raw materials and work with purchasing on generating purchase quotes.
Develop an understanding of current manufacturing software and other various reporting tools.
Support continuous improvement activities, initiatives and perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Associates or Bachelors in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field.
3-5 years of related experience in a scheduler role in a manufacturing setting
