Position Summary:

The Client Service Associate role focuses on supporting clients and advisors by executing routine administrative tasks and handling client requests. Responsibilities include assisting with account openings, processing paperwork, scheduling client meetings, and preparing basic reports. The Associate ensures CRM data accuracy and helps with client follow-up and meeting preparations. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing friendly and professional client service. The role also involves learning about investment products and improving internal processes under supervision.

What is Cerity Partners University?

Cerity Partners University (CPU) focuses on the growth and development of newly hired colleagues, which takes place in our dedicated training space in Louisville, KY. During the in-person training, you will learn the basics of working with clients, train on the Cerity Partners Way, and prepare you to test for the Series 65. Training will begin in July and last for two weeks with all travel and expenses covered by the firm. After training you will return to your local office to start your wealth management journey and make your mark!

Primary Responsibilities

Frequent custodian interaction & paperwork processing.

Process account openings, funding, deposit electronic checks, money movements, process tasks with Custodians.

Schedule client meetings.

Basic preparation and follow-up for client meetings.

Prepare client forms and financial reports in advance of client meetings.

Develop knowledge of investment accounts, products and the forms required to transact business.

Assist with internal coordination across departments to ensure tasks/ follow up is completed in a timely manner.

Responsible for cash transfers, wires, data maintenance, reporting and trading as needed.

Ongoing maintenance and quality control of CRM.

Organize advisory team meetings and events.

Receive client calls and resolve questions/issues as needed.

Execute client appreciation and retention activities.

Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

0-2 years of experience

Skills and Competencies:

Demonstrate strong and effective communication, organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work in a team based/collaborative environment.

Must accept and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Adherence to all compliance policies & procedures.

Demonstrate the Cerity Partners culture.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.

Additional Requirements:

Travel will be required for in person paid training in our Louisville, KY office

Training will begin in July and last for 2 weeks

Compensation Range:

$60,000-70,000
