This position pays between $78,640 to $98,300, and is based on skills, experience and education of the successful candidate.

Join our team as a Pricing Analyst, where you will play an integral part in the company’s regulatory activities. Apply your knowledge and understanding of ratemaking economics, business, and regulatory practices to support effective market strategies, segment business plans, and Company regulatory strategies.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinates activities with the New Mexico and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Staffs, attorneys, and personnel in all areas of the Company
Develops and/or maintain pricing/rate design computer models in database using IT programming languages and/or business analytics software
Establishes and oversees regulatory filing objectives based upon corporate goals and objectives
Coordinates and supports the efforts of the Pricing Department to successfully meet the established objectives
Obtains large data sets from multiple sources and perform data analysis in a timely and accurate manner
Queries information from customer information database to support regulatory filings and strategic analysis related to corporate goals
Assists in development of testimony regarding rate design, pricing, and other analyses to support rate and regulatory strategies as needed
Successful Candidate Must Have:
A bachelor’s degree in a related field such as accounting, legal, finance or economics. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree (see experience below)
A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Minimum of four years of related experience performing the duties and responsibilities of this or similar position. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, an additional four years of direct work experience performing the duties and responsibilities of this or similar position may be considered.
Preferences: Utilitly experience in rates and/or cost of service. Experience in analyzing large data sets.
