Pay rate: $18-19
Role is 100% remote and requires 95% business travel using incumbent's own vehicle. Will be reimbursed for mileage.
The Team: You will be part of the Data Collections Team, composed of 16 colleagues based in US within our Maritime Operations cluster.
The Impact: Texas Port data collection is a high value data due to Petrochemical exports important for our customers.
Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include:
• Travel to Custom Border Protection offices in Texas and obtaining export vessel manifests (Bills of Lading). Process collected documents by scanning them for entry into PIERS/Panjiva.
What We're Looking For: We're seeking someone who can travel four times a week to Customs and Border Protection offices in Corpus Christi, TX; Freeport,TX; Port Arthur, TX, and Lake Charles, LA, at a frequency of three times a month (every other week). Incumbent must be responsible with a good demeanor and abide by the CBP rules and policy within their facilities. The ideal candidate will have:
• A high school diploma (or equivalent) is required
• Excellent communication - both oral and written
• Be legally eligible to work for the duration of the contract.
• Keen attention to detail and good multitasking skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
