JOB SUMMARY: Assists in the coordination of day-to-day business operations, including facility management, reserving spaces and services, event planning, and essential functions including copier and printer administration and procurement of general office supplies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Oversee the configuration, function, and deployment for EMS and Social Tables leading to efforts to enhance functionality, reporting, and support.
Protect the church's space and resource calendar ensuring the needed support is available for events approved at the bi-annual planning meeting and any new events added by Executive Staff. Point out potential conflicts in facility and / or service management. Prepare for Johnson Ferry's bi-annual Block Calendar meetings.
Consult with ministry teams on key major events requiring substantial support and resources. Ensure space and service bookings are correct for large scale and heavy resource required events.
Help consult other Johnson Ferry Staff on usage of the EMS Web App, EMS for Outlook, EMS Desktop Client and Social Tables. Assist staff with reservations requiring unique consideration (overrides of default setup and tear down times, service requests without the required lead time, etc.)
Support Pod Administrator Team consistently looking for ways to best serve the decentralized functions of mail, print, and office supply management. Regularly collaborate with vendors providing services in these areas.
Manage Johnson Ferry's décor (centerpiece) inventory. Fulfill décor requests submitted by ministry teams in support of events on campus. Ensure that décor and linen options remain current on the EMS Web App menu / reservation system.
Oversee the relationship with Johnson Ferry's linen vendor. Ensure orders are submitted and ministry teams are invoiced appropriately for linen expenses.
Assist in the maintenance of the annual budget and in thebudget planning process for the functions of operations, events, and workroom.Recommend opportunities for enhancing operational efficiency.
Facilitate weekly campus ops leadership meeting highlighting upcoming events, resource challenges, etc.
Assist in volunteer management and planning for broadscale churchwide events (Christmas decorating, Deacon/Elder, Staff Christmas Party, milestone events, etc.), as approved by the Campus Operations Director.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Attend and participate in all regular staff meetings, functions, retreats, training, etc.
Support the Senior Pastor and all other church staff. Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
College degree preferred;
Previous experience working in hospitality, interior decorating and/or events a plus. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods of standing, walking and sitting. Sitting at a desk or working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 20-25 pounds at times.
Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
