Extruder Operator - Level 1 (Entry Level)

About the Role:

We are seeking an Extruder Operator - Level 1 Entry Level to join our team in the Non-Durable Goods Manufacturing industry. As an Extruder Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion equipment to produce high-quality products. Your attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures will be critical to ensuring the safety and efficiency of our production process. You will work closely with other team members to meet production goals and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Basic math skills

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in extrusion or related manufacturing processes

Mechanical aptitude

Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles

Forklift certification

Experience with quality control processes Responsibilities:
