Product Manager & Applications Engineering Intern
A product manager's role is to guide the development and success of a product, ensuring it aligns with both business objectives and customer needs. They are responsible for defining the product strategy, roadmap, and features, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring the product to market and beyond. Product managers interface with customers to gather VOC and bridge the gap between engineering, sales, marketing and operations.
Responsibilities/tasks
Rework the product configurator and electronic build sheets (EBS) to maintain
Consistency between product lines
Consistency between configurator and the EBS
Create a partition/section for standard, optional, and SOR
Update the product manuals
Update photos and drawings
Update content
Make mark ups based on design changes and the list of consistency issues between brochures, website, and manuals from the previous interns for PM's/Maxx/Engineering to review
Update the product brochures with more current information and photos.
Create a chassis matrix
In depth information for Engineering
Compatibility notes
Part numbers
Etc
Check basic orders to ensure proper configuration from sales.
Give outside perspective on streamlining the review process.
Job description
