When childhood friends Holly and Shawn stepped away from their corporate careers and started Rook Coffee in 2010, they wanted to make people feel special. Since the beginning, in a 300-square-foot shack, Rook has focused on offering specialty coffees that inspire genuine, human connections.

You Will
Contribute to various roastery and production "housekeeping" tasks.
Fulfill orders by properly preparing, labeling, and packaging product and supplies
Elevate customer service by executing with speed, experience, and customer delight as top priorities.
Maintain inventory for essential items, including coffee/cold brew, merchandise, shipping/packaging materials (boxes, envelopes, tape, ice, insulation bags, pound bags), through effective communication.
Maintain an organized work environment. You Must

Be a great listener
Be an operations and efficiency champion
Proficiency in the use of technology including, but not limited to: Microsoft Office, Gsuite, email, Etc.
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in a fast-paced/labor-intensive role for a minimum of three months, with proven and consistent results
Assist and coach team members as necessary
Maintain a neat and orderly workspace and packaging environment
Perform routine maintenance, organization, and cleaning
Maintain high standards for food and workplace safety and sanitization
The ability to function as part of a cohesive team
Strong interpersonal skills
The ability to lift or move a minimum of 50 lbs
The ability to stand for an extended period of time >
$17 - $19 an hour
Salary range is a starting rate based on experience.
