Job Title: CMM Technician / Programmer
Location: Chino, CA
Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm
Pay Range: $30.00hr - $38.00hr
Position Overview:
The CMM Technician/Operator is responsible for the measuring of all products to the customers' specifications. They will be responsible for the calibration of all check fixtures and measuring devices
Essential Duties:
Responsible for receiving First Article Dimensional Inspection reports and verity product conformance to design specifications.
Compares completed product with parts list, drawings, blueprints, customer purchase order.
Analyze measurement report and confirm the result
Optimize the measurement method
Responsible for CMM Calibration/maintenance to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
Measurement calibration - Hand Tools, gages, fixtures & Inspection Equipment
Timely support production on parts measurement
Prepare measurement proposal and solution
Operate and provide CMM programming assistance and quality control support and expertise in support of daily production and operational needs.
Job Duties:
Perform detail part inspections against engineering design data using CMM.
Recommend and implement improvements that help deliver timely solutions resulting in the highest level of customer service.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve any discrepancies and ensure continuous process improvement
Inspects first article parts and assemblies.
5.Writes report regarding inspection and testing results
Ability to work with minimal supervision and perform follow-up assignments as needed
All other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements:
Years/Type of Exp: 3 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of PC-DMIS software, CMM & Romer Arm programming experience required, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), Blueprint reading
Software: 3 years of CMM (Faro or Romer Arms). Ability to complete First Article Inspections and reports.
Ability to operate/ program CMM both manual and PC-DMIS based, profilometer, and comparator. Experience in AutoCAD and PC-DMIS.
Familiarity with and ability to use standard inspection tools. Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Specialized Training/Knowledge: Ability to use micrometers, depth gages, calipers, comparators, indicators, tooling gages and other inspection instruments.
