Description
SAIC is looking for a Program Analyst to support a Navy contract located in N. Charleston, SC.
Responsibilities Include:
Working with the Project Manager in developing budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program, participating in and establishing and defining program plan requirements, and monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met.
Evaluate and present alternatives for establishing or changing the budget allocations for new or existing projects.
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers.
Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares all weekly monthly and quarterly contractual reports per the Statement of Work.
Responsible for ensuring contract requirements and subcontractor responsibilities are being accomplished including working on the definition and implementation of project planning techniques to provide visibility on the contract.
Participates in the development of solutions to a variety of problems moderate in scope and complexity. Often refers to policies, procedures, and practices for guidance.
Provides backup support to other Analysts during surge periods.
Works under general direction on routine work. May receive detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
Follows established procedures. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment, overall adequacy, and accuracy.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or other related field and three (3) years of experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Required Clearance:
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a public trust.
Required Skills:
Microsoft Office - Excellent abilities utilizing Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Some working knowledge in Microsoft Project a plus.
Must be attentive to detail, extremely well organized, strong time management skills, able to work under pressure, adapt quickly, and meet frequent deadlines.
Strong research and Analysis skills a must.
Ability to work well within a team and communicate well both orally and written.
