Yellowstone Club's Mountain Operations department is currently seeking candidates for a Mountain Operations Project Manager.

The purpose of the Mountain Operations Project Manager is to assist in the daily operations of on-mountain Ski Lift construction projects and other Mountain Operations construction/improvement projects.

Responsibilities Include:

Manage specified construction and/or modification work in accordance with engineer/architect's plans, county/state regulations, and other specifications.

Assist with project solicitation and selection of Contractors and Architects

Work with General Contractors to ensure quality, cost, and schedule.

Monitor construction activities to verify schedules and materials.

Consult with the Mountain Operations team related to overall project design.

Study specifications and performs field inspections of construction activity to verify compliance with the project design and contract documents.

Order procurement of equipment and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules.

Develop and manage project budgets and financial models. Provide monitoring/updates and report to the VP of Construction and Development

Monitor and evaluate construction invoicing, costs and change orders

Confer with supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays.

Inspect work in progress to ensure that work conforms to specifications and that construction schedules are adhered to.

Prepare, or receives from subordinates, reports on progress, materials used and costs, and adjusts work schedules as indicated by reports.

Verify change order requests for accuracy and presentation to the Owners for approval.

Contribute to a positive work environment and ensure teamwork within project organization, utilizing the resources needed to drive quality and value to our clients.

Represent the Company through professionalism, consideration, and discretion in all interactions.

Plan for and execute specific in-house CAPEX improvement and repair projects for the Mountain Operations department. Position Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Construction or Civil Engineering; or equivalent work experience

Project management experience specific to ski infrastructure projects such as lifts, snowmaking, structures, ski runs, trails, and environmental projects.

Experience supervising construction projects. The position offered is a full-time, year-round position located in Big Sky, MT.
