Summary:
This position is in the Department of Teacher Education and Leadership within the College of Education, Humanities, and Behavioral Sciences. The position is a full-time (9-month) faculty position. The rank and tenure-status of the position is negotiable based on qualifications.
Examples of Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Teaches graduate and undergraduate Special Education courses, in both face-to-face and online environments.
Recruits and advises students.
Participates in research projects.
Serves as a mentor to graduate and undergraduate students.
Conducts an active research/publication agenda.
• Provides service to the university, community, and profession.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Typical Qualifications
Minimum Position Requirements (including certifications, licenses, etc.):
• An earned Ed.D. or Ph.D. in Special Education from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 2 years of public-school experience in a P-12 setting is required.
