Job Title: Scheduler

Location: Radiology Associates of Ocala

Position: Full-Time

Job Summary:

Radiology Associates of Ocala is seeking a full-time Scheduler to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will coordinate imaging appointments for referring physicians and patients, ensuring a professional and friendly experience. You will be responsible for gathering and inputting patient demographics and insurance data, as well as delivering exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming first impression for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Answer multi-line phone system courteously and professionally, routing calls as needed.

Schedule imaging appointments across multiple clinical sites, ensuring exams are appropriate for the ordered diagnosis in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.

Accurately enter patient demographic and insurance information into our RIS system.

Provide quality customer service by assisting patients with scheduling, answering inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience.

Resolve any conflicting or missing orders by coordinating with referring physicians, supervisors, or lead technicians.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum of one year of experience, preferably in a medical office setting.

Knowledge of radiologic procedures and medical terminology is desirable.

Strong computer and customer service skills.
