WHAT TO EXPECT Hy-Line North America is looking to have someone join our team as a full time Hatchery Maintenance Technician at our Spencer, IA location.

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and repairing all hatchery equipment and mechanical systems within the building while following all biosecurity and animal welfare policies.

You will work with the Hatchery Manager on maintenance schedules.

Maintain inventory on parts and coordinate with the Hatchery Manager on purchasing parts and supplies.

This role involves being able to respond to emergency alarms after hour and participating in a rotating on call schedule.

In this role you must have the ability to lift and carry 80 lbs, must be able to work in varying environments, and must be able to be respirator certified.

REQUIREMENTS Candidates with a technical degree or certification from an accredited college/technical institute and a minimum of two years experience is preferred.

Candidates must have a strong electrical background with experience in plumbing, HVAC, pneumatics and mechanical repairs.

Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.

Must have the ability to learn and utilize an internal database and internal company programs.

Compensation is dependent on job skills and experience.
