Machinist - 2nd Shift

WeatherTech Direct is seeking a well-qualified Machinist who specializes in fabricating custom injection mold bases.

Hourly rate starts at $25/hour or more based on skill set.

As a Machinist, you will

Fabricate custom injection mold bases using Haas CNC machines

Use CNC machines, manual machines, and other hand and power tools to repair and update mold tools

Perform all assigned machine shop operations needed to make mold tools that meet precise specifications

Make adjustments to machines to control speed, material feed and path of the cut, as well as make sure machines are set up properly, working well, and producing quality products

Confirm machines are working at full capacity, are stocked with needed materials, and are well-maintained as well as perform periodic checks on output

Follow company safety rules and keep designated work area in a clean and orderly condition

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

5+ years of experience operating CNC machines in a tooling/machine shop environment

High School Diploma or equivalent

Apprenticeship or certification/associate's degree or equivalent experience

Experience building custom injection mold bases

Experience using Haas CNC machines

Familiar with a variety of CNC machines, manual machines, and hand/power tools

Mechanically inclined and should understand basic math

Experience using CAM and NX CAM Software a plus

Proficient with Microsoft Office

Authorized to work in the United States
