Dietitian Technician - Herndon, VA

Shifts: Days (40 hrs/week)
Responsibilities:
• Purchase grocery items for the facility as needed, considering variety, special diets, and food safety.
• Uphold proper sanitation requirements and kitchen cleanliness.
• Facilitate and model normalized eating behaviour for clients, redirecting eating disorder behaviours and assuring compliance with meal plan.
• Provide redirections when eating disorder behaviours are used at the table
• Plan menus and prepare meals as therapeutically recommended by Dietitian.
• Participate in restaurant experiences and catered meals.
• Advise clients appropriately on food choices.
• Conduct weekly client calorie counts/weights/vitals.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition OR Behavioural Science field OR DTR Certification.
