The Supervisor plans, directs, and organizes the work of labour crews of varying sizes and demonstrates considerable knowledge of a wide variety of materials, methods, practices, and equipment utilized in restoration and emergency mitigation.
The Supervisor will complete time and material paperwork, daily activity sheet, and daily field reports.rn rnResponsibilities:rnrnDevelops and maintains detailed project schedules which include all project phases and dependencies including detailed design, material procurement, installation & administrative tasks for multiple sites.rnEnsure that the company health and safety policies and procedures are followed for all First Onsite personnel and sub-contractorsrnPlan, organize and supervise the work of groups of restoration labourers.
Which includes licensed construction tradesrnReports and forms must be sent to the Project Manager and to the T&M desk rnManages project to ensure SOW (scope of work) on Emergencies.rnEstimate materials and equipment require for site work based on initial plan and communicates to Project Manager.rnrnQualifications & Experience:rnrnMinimum 3 years experience with proven track record in construction Supervisor / foreman position with up to 25 reports, within the restoration/emergency (or a related) industryrnDetailed understanding of reconstruction practices for property that has suffered water, wind, mould, fire and vandalism damagesrnKnowledge of building codes and electrical, or plumbing, or mechanical and related codes.rnKnowledge of the laws and ordinances regulating building construction.rnStrong communication skills, both written and verbal in English and FrenchrnComputer skills required effectively use Word, Excel, and Outlook.rnAbility to complete work activities which may include physical labour, material handling and lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces (attics, basements, and crawlspaces)rnrnARE YOU READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM?rnIf you feel that you would be right for this position, please fill out our initial 3-minute, mobile-friendly application so that we can review your information.
