BAE Systems is looking for a qualified Program Manager to join our team for an exciting opportunity to support the readiness and sustainment of the US Air Force ICBM program.
Duties:
Accountable to the Program Manager for tasks. Shall serve as a focal point for assigned projects
Leads a team of engineers in conducting modeling and flight simulations of a ballistic weapon system.
Leads development and delivery of annual Weapon System Effectiveness Report
Maintain and upgrade state of the art simulation capabilities by developing, integrating, and testing software.
Manages the team that maintains weapon system simulation technical baseline and documentation using configuration management processes.
Leads the development and execution of simulation Verification & Validation plans in support of new hardware integration efforts.
Leads support operations, maintenance, testing of the ICBM system by conducting or coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering analysis (e.g. mass properties, aerodynamics, flight dynamics, and propulsion).
Manages the development and delivery of regular status briefings to customer.

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
BS 7 yrs or MS 5 yrs
BS/MS Eng., Computer Science, Software, Mathematics, or Physics. 7 yrs (5 yrs with MS degree) of progressive experience in systems integration and analysis of military hardware and software systems/processes. 2 yrs experience leading system design, integration, and analytical efforts.
Preferred Skills and Education
Supports Project technical manager in the execution of their duties. Provides highly technical expertise and guidance in solving complex hardware/software engineering problems. Provides technical leadership of all phases of hardware/software design analysis, development, integration, and implementation. Capable of determining appropriate use of technologies in solving engineering problems
