Job Summary
Join a nationally recognized and accredited methadone treatment center dedicated to helping individuals overcome prescription drug abuse and opiate addiction.
Be part of a team that treats patients with dignity and respect throughout their treatment journey.
Essential Functions
Conduct intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork with patients.
Document patient progress through counseling and group interactions.
Develop individualized treatment plans and psychosocial assessments.
Identify and address clinical and case management needs.
Provide individual, group, and family counseling as needed.
Engage in at least 20 hours of direct patient contact weekly.
Report any patient abuse, neglect, or grievances as required.
Educate patients on treatment, health issues, and recovery steps.
Assist with monitoring patient activities on center premises.
Participate in community relations activities as directed.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
Actively engage in staff meetings and preparation for inspections.
Perform other tasks as assigned by leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Licensure/Certification:
Experience in the substance abuse field is preferred but not required.
Must have a counseling certification in a related field (State Specific).
A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience Required:
Minimum of 500 hours of experience in substance abuse is preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be reliable.
Basic mathematics skills.
