Performs network administration task to include router, vlan, switch configuration, vpn and site-to-site vpn, allocate IP ranges, configure firewall rules, maintain and upgrade physical hardware. Provides design, administration, and support of server and network environment including but not limited to the following technologies: Mist, Junos, PanOS, Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, File and Print Services, Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, DNS, DHCP, Radius, Linux, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes. Automates infrastructure with Chef, PowerShell, and other programming/scripting languages. Creates CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins. Manages small and medium projects autonomously. Integrates information security best practices across all processes and infrastructure. Provides design, administration, and support of physical servers, VMware virtual server environment, Storage Area Network (SAN), network switches, core router, and network firewall. Provides technical documentation relevant to systems and processes designed and deployed. Must participate in 24x7 rotating on-call schedule and scheduled maintenance windows.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience in a computing and information technology related field; Minimum of 4 years progressive experience in computing and information technology, including knowledge in IT architecture components, principles, procedures and practices; Knowledge of Network infrastructure including routing, vlans, firewalls; Knowledge of operating systems, protocols, architectures, infrastructure designs, equipment configuration, testing, troubleshooting and repair; client & server operating systems, including Microsoft, Mac and RHEL platforms; experience with storage area networks (SAN) and virtualized server software, including VMware, AWS, Azure; experience with programming/scripting skills in PowerShell, Ruby, Python, or other comparable language; proven leadership skills with the ability to lead technical teams, project stakeholders and senior leadership’ excellent written and verbal communication
Additional Information:
The target hiring range for this job profile is $81,000 - $106,500.00. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
