Senior Residence Hall Desk Coordinator

Reporting to the Assistant Director, the Senior Residence Hall Desk Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desks in the Residence Halls on the Columbus campus. The Senior Residence Hall Desk Coordinator recruits, trains, supervises, and evaluates 4-6 full time Desk Coordinators in Columbus who work directly with approximately 300 student staff; independently oversees issues and concerns related to the daily operation including access issues related to keys and BuckID, mail and packages, occupancy management, Student Office Assistant personnel issues; develops and maintains consistency across front desks; collaborates with, assists, and provides input to the Assistant Director on processes and practices; partners with university stakeholders including Hall Staff, Housing and Residence Education Assistant Directors and Housing Administration, Human Resources, and Access Control; develops and implements practices in alignment with the residential curriculum; oversees daily operation of summer orientation front desk; collaborates with Storage Squad; serves as the alternate for the Assistant Director leading all aspects of hall desk operations and student recruitment; serves as a resource for Residence Hall Desk Coordinators reporting directly to the Assistant Director when necessary; is a subject matter expert on all tasks related to Residence Hall Desk operations. Occasional evening/weekend presence may be required.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 4 years of relevant experience.
Desired Qualifications: Master’s degree or equivalent experience; 4-8 years of relevant experience.
Additional Information:
The target salary range for this position is $58,700-$77,200. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, the unit’s available budget, and the selected candidate’s qualifications.
