**Position: Off-Shift Assistant Plant Manager**
The Off-Shift Assistant Plant Manager is the leader of plant operations and the primary point of contact during off-shift operations. The role is critical in that this person will ensure all second shift operations function and perform processes safely, efficiently, and accurately. Desirable candidates must be highly interactive, solutions-oriented & able to lead a team in a high-volume production/shipping environment. In addition, this person must be hands-on and willing to go from ensuring front office documentation processes are complete to motivating and working alongside their teams on the floor.
Daily Responsibilities:
Hold employees accountable to safety, quality, and delivery standards
Work closely with first shift operations, receiving, and warehousing to streamline and improve processes
Review upcoming schedules and ensure lines are ready to effectively and efficiently meet production needs
Ability to foresee production issues before they arise and address as needed
Develop skills for quick visualization of potential issues and resolve in order to maintain safety, productivity, and quality
Check/QA door units being produced
Ensure daily, weekly, monthly maintenance procedures for all production equipment are performed
Check throughout the day for Fast Tracks or other orders needing expediting
Fill in as needed to cover open spot and help team accomplish daily tasks
Ensure physical security of facility
Assist with filling priority orders by utilizing ERP software, pulling materials, operating assembly machines, and loading of trucks
Responsible for quality of materials loaded and making corrections as necessary
Ensure readiness of drivers paperwork
Ensure materials on truck are loaded in a manner which eliminates damage due to transport
Safety Compliance Ensure adherence to safety policies and guidelines.

Strong ability to operate and troubleshoot tablets, smartphones, and other digital tools for daily tasks, including data entry, scheduling, and reporting.
Requirements:
Valid drivers license and insured personal vehicle.
Ability to lift 75+ lbs. repetitively.
